3479497 - HANA Client Version Not Reflected in SAP ABAP GUI Screen After Update

After updating the HANA Client in the ABC PRD system, the new version is not reflected in the SAP ABAP GUI screen. It still shows the old version (in this special case the SP 15), while the OS level shows the updated version (in this special case the SP 19). This issue persists despite the PATH and LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variables being correctly set, as per SAP Note 2386699 Wrong HANA Client version on Application server. The issue is unique to the production system, as the HANA DB client update was successful in Non-Prod systems.
