3479566 - Warning messages from Jobinformation Rules do not appear on the Time Off Create Absence UI

Symptom

 
After the 2405 Release, customers noticed that error messages related to Jobinfo rules appear on the Time Off UI when trying to create LOA Time Types. However, warning or information messages are not showing up.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central – Time Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to Administer Time UI>Create Absence
  2. Select Time Type>LOA
  3. Select the dates
  4. Click on Submit
  5. Job Information Rule Warning Messages are not displayed, (Job Info rule triggers during LOA Record creation on job information)
  6. Only Error messages are displayed.

Resolution

 
  • At present, the system only supports job information rule error messages.
  • To show warning messages on the leave request UI, we recommend submitting an enhancement ticket. For detailed instructions on how to raise such a request, please refer to Knowledge Base Article #<2090228> titled "How to submit an enhancement request".
