Symptom

After a system migration or a Unicode conversion the audit log files of the source system are converted using instructions in KBA 2649358. While running the report RSCP_CONVERT_FILE dump "OPEN_DATASET_NO_AUTHORITY" occurred.

Codepage of the source and target system is not the same:

  • source system is non-Unicode, target system is Unicode (Unicode conversion)
  • endianness of the source and target operating system is not the same (heterogenous system copy)
