Symptom

• Error message "KI248" occurs when posting an invoice in transaction MIRO for a purchase order.
• The error appears despite a responsible cost center being set up in the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) element or internal order master data.
• The expected behavior is that the responsible cost center is recognized during MIRO posting, but the system does not invoke it.
