Symptom

Business Partner Internal ID missing error occurs in Process Communication Error view for the below documents:

Sending Document: Supplier 

Receiving Document: BO_CA_BusinessPartner

Environment

  • SAP Cloud for Customer
  • SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Application and User Management workcenter
  2. Go to Process Communication Error
  3. Error: Business Partner Internal ID missing

Cause

  • The webservice is missing the Internal Business Partner ID.
  • It could be due to a custom solution. The actions the partner is performing with the web service are missing a business partner ID.

Resolution

The partner is responsible for investigating and resolving any issues related to their solution, as they are the only ones who can analyze its underlying logic. Please contact the partner responsible for the solution to address and resolve the issue.
