3480468 - Meet error AAPO145 while posting by T-code ABSO with transaction type 640 in S4 system

When posting transaction by T-code ABSO with transaction type 640, you meet error as below after clicking "Line Items" button" and not filling "Asset Value Date"

Asset value date cannot be determined. Please enter a date.

Diagnosis

You want to post a transaction in accounting transaction category AFAP to asset XXXX YYYY-0. You did not enter a value date for the transaction. Therefore the system tried to determine the value date based on the specifications for accounting transaction category AFAP, but could not determine a value date.

Procedure

Either enter a value date for the transaction directly, or check the Customizing settings for accounting transaction category AFAP that are supposed to help in determining the asset value date.
