3480717 - Duplication check for activating tax number category is not working

The duplication check for a tax number category has been activated, but the system is not showing any warning or error message in the Maintain Business Partner app.  

SAP S/4HANA Cloud 

1. Open the Maintain Business Partner app
2. Create or select a business partner.
3. Enter a tax number for the BP such as e.g. IE0 Irish VAT number
4. The same VAT number is entered for another business partner
5. No warning or error message is raised

The duplication check for tax number categories has been configured as an info message instead of a warning message or an error message. 

1. Open the Manage Your Solution app.
2. Select "Configure Your Solution".
3. Search for the configuration activity 103601 - Change Message Control for Duplicate Tax Numbers.
4. Choose Configure.
5. Enter the "Application Area": BUPA_TAX.
6. Change the message number 400 from an info message to a warning or an error message and save your entry.
