3480853 - Asset depreciation is not calculated base on useful life

Symptom

Asset depreciation is not calculated based on useful life.

For example, assets have the following depreciation areas:

Area 01 (useful life is 3 years)

Area 02 (useful life is 5 years)

Area 03 (in T-cd OADB, defined as area 01 - area 02)

Area 01 and area 02 have the same APC value and depreciation key. The only difference between area 01 and area 02 is the useful life.

However, you may find that depreciation area 01 is not calculating depreciation based on a useful life of 3 years, but is instead calculating depreciation the same as area 02.
