3481076 - Prescreening questions are not editable after the candidate submits the application : 1H 2024

Symptom

In the current version, applicants can no longer edit their answers once they submit their application.

In the previous version, the feature permission candQuestions gave applicants the ability to "edit" their answers in the status where this permission was configured, which gave applicants the ability to correct their answers even after they applied.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management.

Reproducing the Issue

Feature permission candQuestions is configured in the status where the candidate can edit the pre-screening questions post applying.

After the 1H 2024 release, Candidate applies to the job and is moved to a status where the candQuestions is configured but it is only read-only and the applicant/candidate is not be able to edit it.

Even if the candidate tries to re-submit, these questions are non-editable.

Cause

Previously, candidates can edit the question answer any times if they have candQuestions permission.
Now, candidates can not edit the question answer after they "submit" the application.
If they have candQuestions permission in some statuses, they can just "read" the question answer.

This means, that after the release the candidates will not be able to edit the pre-screening questions after they submit the application

There is no workaround to keep the permission to edit the fields as this is the new behavior for the pre-screening questions that they are not editable after submitting application.
