3481210 - MIRO: Tax Jurisdiction errors come up when posting directly to a Material - SAP ERP & SAP S/4HANA

Symptom

When trying to process an invoice with direct posting to a material in transaction MIRO, it is noticed that tax jurisdiction errors are raised on screen.
Some of these could be:

  • Company code XXXX requires you to enter a tax jurisdiction code - Message no. FF775
  • Tax code YY does not exist for jurisdiction code - Message no. FF718
  • System error in routine FI_TAX_GET_TXJCD_LEVELS error code 2 function builder TAX2 - Message no. FF769
