3481363 - Edit Details button is not appearing for any portlet on mobile browser - Employee Central

Symptom

The "Edit Details" button is not appearing for any portlet on mobile browser, like dependents or emergency contacts, which allow these details. This is not applicable for mobile app, where the scenario is different.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to the instance using a mobile browser
  2. Go to the profile of a user
  3. Click on Dependents' portlet or any other portlet with details option
  4. See that the button to Edit Details is not available

Cause

Engineering team is investigating.

Resolution

Engineering team is investigating this issue. This KBA will be updated with their response.

As a workaround, use the web browser version to edit the details.
