Symptom

You are getting the following error in Export Software Collection app or Import Software Collection app when importing a transport request"

"Item XXXXX of type Business Role needs R3TR_SIA1 XXXXXXXX which is not yet imported"

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Export Software Collection app
  2. Click on the collection to be exported
  3. Click on Export button.

OR

  1. Go to Import Collection app.
  2. Select an transport request to import.
  3. Click on Import button.

Cause

The Business Role XXXXX contains a Business Catalog which was created using Developer Extensibility but was not yet transported to Test System.

Resolution

Once create a Business Catalog using Developer Extensibility (ABAP Development Tools), this catalog is assigned to a package and a transport request.

It is needed to transport the Business Catalog XXXXXXXX to Test System by transporting the Transport Request on which it is assigned.
