3481587 - While settlement under different companies assigned to same chart of dep. some ones meet error ACC_AA170, others don't

During settlement, you meet error ACC_AA170 under some company codes, in the meantime, no issue under other company codes, even those company codes are under the same chart of depreciation.

Diagnosis

One of the following two depreciation areas is not available on the asset under construction of the investment measure:

• The leading depreciation area XX of accounting principle ZZ
  The leading depreciation area of the accounting principle is the area that manages APC and posts real time to the accounts or to the ledgers of this ledger group that are assigned to this accounting principle, or
• An area for cost-accounting valuation

The following depreciation areas have to be defined on an asset under construction for an investment measure:

• The leading depreciation area of the accounting principle that is mapped in the leading ledger, and
• A depreciation area that manages cost-accounting valuation and to which the accounting principle is assigned that is mapped in the leading ledger. The values of this area have to be capitalized completely in the controlling area currency. Therefore, no capitalization version is allowed to be assigned to this area.
  This area can be the leading area XX or another depreciation area with the following settings:
  • If the company code currency differs from the controlling area currency and no capitalization version is assigned to leading area XX, it must be an area in controlling area currency that adopts the posting values from the leading area.
  • If a capitalization version is assigned to leading area XX, then it has to be an area in controlling area currency that is designated as a cost-accounting area (area type 7) and that does not have a capitalization version.
