3481732 - Testing connectivity of Integration Center with SFTP using certificate-based authentication

Symptom

You have created an Outbound Third Party SFTP connection through SuccessFactors Integration Center using Certificate based authentication from a key pair generated in SuccessFactors.

You wish to know if you can test the connection without sending a file to the SFTP server.

Environment

  • SuccessFactors HCM Suite
    • Integration Center

Resolution

The only way to test the connectivity of an outbound integration with certificate-based authentication is to run it from Integration Center while setting the correct destination settings (including SFTP server location and File Name and Folder Settings). Currently, it is not possible to test connectivity without sending a file to the SFTP server.

Once everything is set up, you can click 'Run Now' from the 'Review and Run' tab to execute your integration.

You can check the execution log and status of the Integration Center job through the Execution Manager Dashboard to verify whether the connection was successful or not.
