3482572 - Kanban Card Showing Wrong Value On Home Page

Symptom

A Kanban card has been created for a query "ABC" generated on Opportunities BO, for example. In this query, the field "Status" is filtered and set as "Not equal to Lost". However, when accessing the system, the "123 - EXAMPLE" opportunity with the Status "Lost" appears in the Kanban results. If checking the query itself on Opportunities OWL, the document "123 - EXAMPLE" does not appear.

Opportunity BO is used as an example here, but this document can be used for any BO.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

1. Log into the system with the affected user.
2. Check the Kanban card. (Query "ABC")
3. The "123 - EXAMPLE" Opportunity shows on the Kanban card.
4. Go to Sales then Opportunities work center.
5. Open the "ABC" query.
6. Search for "123 - EXAMPLE" Opportunity ID/Name.
7. The "123 - EXAMPLE" document is not visible.

Cause

When the Kanban card was created, the filter for "Status" field "not equal to lost" was not there.
The filter was created after the Kanban card was added to the Home screen.

Kanban card once created will not get automatically adjusted based on the default search filter parameters, whenever filter is changed on the default sets.

Resolution

Once filters are changed to the default sets, it is necessary to delete the Kanban and recreate it.

Please Note: Removing a custom Kanban card from the homepage and adding it again will not work.

It is necessary to delete the Kanban completely and recreate it.
