3482591 - Sales Quote Document Type RFQ Is Not Valid in C4C

When you are configuring document types for Sales Quotes in C4C, the option 'RFQ' is not available to be selected.  You might also encounter the error message, "Value RFQ is not valid." 

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to the Overview work center view.
3. Go to the Sales Quote fine-tuning Activity.
4. Click on "Maintain Document Types" hyperlink.
5. Click on "Add Row".
6. Type "RFQ" under column Document Type.

Result: The Document Type RFQ is not valid.

The scoping question "Do you want to exchange sales quotes with an external web shop application to your cloud solution?" is not enabled in your system.

In order to solver this issue, you need to enable the scoping question mentioned above. To do this, please follow the steps below:

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to the Implementation Projects work center view.
3. Select the desired project.
4. Click on 'Edit Project Scope'.
5. Click on 'Next' until you reach step "4 - Questions".
6. Expand Scoping Element "Communication and Information Exchange".
7. Expand Scoping Element "Integration with External Applications and Solutions ".
8. Click on Scoping Element "Integration into Sales, Service, and Marketing Processes ".
9. Enable question "Do you want to exchange sales quotes with an external web shop application to your cloud solution?".
