3482688 - 'Account determination for inventories is missing for Acct Det. Group ABC' Error in WIP Clearing Run

WIP Clearing Run finishes with error:

'Account determination for inventories is missing for Acct Det. Group ABC'.

ABC means the Account Determination Group.

SAP Business ByDesign 

1. Go to the Inventory Valuation work center.
2. Go to the WIP Clearing view
3. Find and open the respective Run ID.
4. Move to Messages tab.
5. Notice the error:

'Account determination for inventories is missing for Acct Det. Group ABC'.

For account determination group ABC, the account determination is missing in Inventories subledger -> Differences tab -> Loss from Production Differences.

Maintain the account determination in Business Configuration activity Charts of Accounts, Financial Reporting Structures, Account Determination, as follows:

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to the Overview view.
3. Find and open the activity Charts of Accounts, Financial Reporting Structures, Account Determination.
4. Open Inventories subledger.
5. Select Differences tab.
6. Maintain a G/L Account under Loss from Production Differences and save the changes.
7. Execute the WIP Clearing Run again.
