3482763 - How To Upload The Excel Upload Template With Extension Fields For Sales Documents

A Excel Upload Template for Sales Order has been modified to add extension fields. This new Excel Template for Sales Order is required to be published for all the users to create Sales Orders in the system.

1. The Excel Upload Template for Sales Orders has been modified with Extension Fields.
2. The Excel Upload Template requires to be published for all the users to create Sales Documents. 

In order to publish the modified Excel Upload Template, it is required to follow the below steps:

1. Go to Application and User Management Work Center.
2. Go to Microsoft Office® Template Maintenance View.
3. Go to Advanced Filter.
4. Select the Template Group as Sales Order Upload.
5. Select the Template Type as Microsoft Excel® (Write-back).
6. Upload the adapted template by clicking Upload.

   The following options are available:

   • Overwrite an existing template by choosing Replace Existing Language Variant

       

   • Create a new template by choosing New Template or New Language Variant, if you want to create a new template in a new language

       
     
7. In order to make the template available for all users, the publish option must be selected by clicking Publish.
