SAP Knowledge Base Article - Preview

3482984 - BAPI_INSPECTIONPLAN_CREATE: inspection plan is not created

Symptom

While executing the BAPI BAPI_INSPECTIONPLAN_CREATE to create an inspection plan, the RETURN table shows a successful message:

BAPI000 - InspectionPlan  has been created

however, the inspection plan is not saved to the database.

No inspection plan found in transaction QP03 nor in table PLKO with the task list key.

System response is similar with BAPIs:

  • BAPI_ROUTING_CREATE - for routings, and
  • BAPI_REFSETOFOPERATIONS_CREATE - for reference operation sets.
