3483003 - HRIS Sync: Job Completion is Received even if "Send Emails when Job Completes" is Disabled

Symptom

A scheduled HRIS Sync Job is still sending completion emails even though the "Send Emails when Job Completes" is turned off / disabled.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HCM

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Scheduled Job Manager.
  2. Access the Job Scheduled tab.
  3. Select a scheduled HRIS Sync job.
  4. On the Notification section, make sure that the option "Send Emails When Job Completes:" is disabled and unchecked.
  5. Once the job runs, you receive the notification informing the job has been completed even though the option is disabled.

Cause

This is a system designed behavior of HRIS Sync.

Resolution

This is not related with any configuration in Scheduled Job page which means when a scheduled HRIS Sync Job has finished/completed, there must be an email sent. This is the function in HRIS Sync job.
