3483228 - How to add a standard field on the manufacturing order output

You want to add a standard field, which is not included in the default form template, on the manufacturing order output (Order Data List, Pick List and Order Component List).

For every output type, there is a data source. If the field you want to add is already in the data source, then we regard it as a standard field. You can add a standard field to the output by the following steps:

1. Figure out the data source you need to extend. Let's take the Order Data List as the example in this article. In Maintain Form Template app, search for description "Order Data List", we can find the corresponding data source is FDP_PP_MOR_DATA_LIST_SRV.

2. In Custom Fields app, Data Source Extensions section, click the "+" button to create a new extension.

3. In the pop-up window, enter the data source and the extension description.

4. After clicking "Create", select the fields you want to add to the output from the available fields on the left. This time we select "Order Item". We can also edit the selected field.

5. Save and publish the extension.

6. Now this added field is available for the output. You can activate it for your custom form template in Adobe LiveCycle Designer. Please refer to relevant content in KBA3485035 for the detailed process.
