• Mapping a custom field, from a standard section in Employee Central to Offboarding task for example, value is not properly flowing.
• The same mapping works for other custom fields in the same Section/Portlet.
• The same mapping works for other instances.

It might be a refresh issue.

If the same mapping is properly working for other fields or even other instances, it might be a refresh issue indeed.

Try it by removing the mapping (Field Mapping Tool) > Save > Re-add the mapping and check with new candidates.
