3483675 - Error "You are not authorized to Read Connection" in Multi Action API Step in SAP Analytics Cloud

Symptom

  • When opening Multi Action API step, HTTP API Connection is empty and it does not show the connection which was used when Multi Action API step was created. 
  • a har file shows:

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the Multi Action
  2. Go to the API Step
  3. Go to Designer > API Details 
  4. HTTP API Connection is empty. User cannot find the connection.

Cause

The users are missing "Read" connection privileges.

Resolution

Assign the users "Read" privileges for connections.
