3484585 - E-mail Body Content Displayed in Dark Background


In Interaction/Timeline facet, the email content is displayed in Dark Mode when the Device Theme is set as Dark.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Service work center.
  2. Go to Tickets work center view.
  3. Open Ticket ABC(where ABC is the ID of the affected Ticket).
  4. Go to Timeline/Interaction facet.
  5. Notice that for a particular e-mail, the content is shown in Dark Mode.
  6. Check for device theme settings.
  7. Notice that the device theme is set as 'Dark'.


The issue is caused due to Meta tags or styling maintained in the E-mail. The Meta Tags can be seen by downloading the _OriginalContent file of the affected e-mail.

As the issue is caused due to the styling/Meta tags maintained in the email content, there are no further actions that can be taken from SAP side. It depends on the Email body content that has been sent to C4C. SAP do not change or modify the content of the email in any manner.
