Symptom
Value present in backend (C4C) is not appearing in SAC.
Environment
SAP Analytics Cloud 2.0
Datasource: Cloud for Customer Analytics
Reproducing the Issue
- Log in to SAC.
- Go to modeler.
- Click on Model to create a new model.
- Select 'Start with data'.
- Select 'SAP Cloud for Customer Analytics'.
- Choose the connection.
- Inside Build SAP Cloud for Customer Analytics Query search for the value.
- The value does not appear, but same value is present inside C4C.
Resolution
With C4C Analytics connection type, SAC does not support Guid type. But generic OData connection supports it. We can create generic OData connection type to display the dimensions of Guid type in SAC.
