3484734 - Field Name "Type" On Account Is Missing In Reports

Accounts has standard field named as 'Type'. This field is not extended in Standard 'Account Details' Data source and reports.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to Customer work center.
2. Go to Account work center view.
3. Account screen OWL has column for standard field "Type".
4. Click on Advance filter.
5. Field name "Type" is available in advance filter of Account.
6. Go to Business Analytics work center.
7. Go to Data Reports work center view.
8. Select the associated report of accounts you are designing.
9. Go to Edit With
10. Select the Report Wizard option from Edit with Drop down values.
11. Go to 3 step Select Characteristics.
12. In Column "Characteristic name", search for Type.
13. "Type" name does not exist in reports.

"Type" field is currently not available as datasource in reports.

 

 

Type field for account is not available in datasource for reports.

This is current and expected behaviour.

Note: Report datasource for Account has another field with name "Role", which can be used as workaround for unavailable field "Type". Role is the dropdown field with multiple value selection including values that are available for field "Type", namely customer, prospects.
