3485017 - InputReadyness state doesn't work correctly with dimension based DAC settings

Symptom

You have a dimension in a model with Data Access Control(DAC) enabled.
You create a Story based on this model.
The user does not always see the correct input readiness of the cells based on DAC, so the user can enter values also in the cells where they just have read access. After entering, the system rejects the values with following error :“Data can’t be changed because it is for one or more members that are outside of the Planning area of the version......”

Reproducing the Issue

Cause

This is a limitation with current design that the InputReadiness state doesn't respect dimension based DAC settings.

Resolution

We recognize the significance of this feature to you and are actively planning to address this gap in future updates. However, multiple teams need to be involved and we can't give an exact timeline when this will be delivered. This will be added to roadmap item once settled.
