Android Push notifications for ByD Mobile App would not work post 21st Jun 2024. Users won’t receive the alert notification in their android phones when app is in background mode for various approvals and time recording. Apart from the notification rest other functionality of the app would remain as it is and works fine.
Cause
Firebase deprecated the legacy FCM HTTP link and replaced it with HTTPS V.1
Resolution
Users can still open the app and see the pending tasks and perform all operations.
Respective team is working on a workaround and Notifications feature would not be working till further communication.
