SAP Knowledge Base Article - Preview

3485330 - CMS is crashing continuously after login to Central Management Console (CMC).

Symptom

  • Navigating in CMC automatically logout and Freezes in CMC Login Screen. 
  • CMS.exe process stay in top command and disappears after 15 minutes after restart
  • Observed many error  occurrences in the CMS log files :
    "Failed to get session id from handle and handle is not set to bypass nor server-server discovery"
  • Error message:  
    "Account information not recognized: Could not reach CMS '<ServerName>:6400'. Specify the correct host and port and check for network issues. (FWM 20030)"
  • Connectivity to database < 0 msec as database was on the same server
  • Restarting SIA temporarily solves the issue temporarily.
