3485489 - "Find a work schedule" button is not seen in Add New Employee page - 1H 2024

Symptom

“Find a work schedule” button is not seen in Add New Employee page, when work schedule field is set to “View” and again set to “edit” from an onChange rule.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Add New Employee

Reproducing the Issue

Prerequisite - Configure a rule to set work schedule field Visibility to “View” and again to set Visibility to “Edit” from an onChange rule.

  1. Navigate to add new employee page.
  2. Fill the required fields and navigate till Job Information.
  3. Observe that Work schedule field visibility is set to “View”.
  4. Now search for field where the onChange rule was configured and trigger the rule.
  5. Observe in Time Information > Work schedule field visibility is set to “edit”.
  6. But we are still unable to see “Find a work schedule” button.

Resolution

  1. Product Engineering is investigating a solution.

  3. Workaround - Disable the onInit rule, which sets the work schedule field visibility to “View”.
