3485498 - CX_INVALID_TRANSFORMATION in CL_RSO_IOBJ_MODEL_MANAGER method SERIALIZE

Symptom

When opening InfoObject in BW Modeling Tool, there is following error. 

  • System failure: "An excaption has occurred that was not caught." 
  • com.sap.bw.connectivity.util.CommException

In the backend system side, the action failed in the class CL_RSO_IOBJ_MODEL_MANAGER method SERIALIZE

  •         CALL TRANSFORMATION (p_s_version-serializer)
              SOURCE
                s_root = ls_model_trans
              RESULT XML
                r_xml.
          CATCH cx_transformation_error INTO DATA(lr_transformation_error).
            RAISE EXCEPTION TYPE cx_rso_res_serialization_err
              EXPORTING
                previous = lr_transformation_error.
