3485535 - Email message of all emails becomes a strange text instead of the message set in Email Template

Email message is maintained in Email Template.

However, in Email Status, all emails are showing a strange text.

Custom layout is set wrongly.

Go to Email Services >> Email Settings and disable the "Use Custom Layout" until you set it right.
