3485915 - MTO and ETO Strategies in the plant MRP area

Make-to-order (MTO) production or engineer-to-order (ETO) planning strategies need to be used in MRP areas.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

For MTO and ETO scenario, the planning can only be performed in the plant MRP area.

MTO and ETO strategies can be used only in the plant MRP area. Therefore, individual customer segments are always in the plant MRP area even if a storage location that refers to a storage location MRP area is assigned in the sales order.

It is not possible to plan individual customer segments in the MRP area.
