3486261 - Checkbox showing same value in Story Report independent of it's real value on Performance form (Checked or Unchecked)

For one checkbox type custom element configured on Performance form template, in the Story report, this custom element's value always showing one same default value. Whether this checkbox is checked or unchecked on the form.

Expected behavior: The checkbox type custom element value should show the different value on the story report when the checkbox is checked or unchecked.

1. Configure one checkbox type custom element in Provisioning, or define this element on one form template XML file, then upload this form template XML to the instance, such as below:

<evalue><![CDATA[X ]]></evalue>
</fm-element>

1. Launch one form from the created form template
2. Create one Story report by the following steps:
   Performance management >> Form template (defined form template) >> Form >> Form section >> custom element table
3. Do the test by checking or un-checking this checkbox on the form, then check the relative data on the Story report showing for the two cases. You will find the "Sex's" value always showing the X.

Additional info:

Story report need create as above steps. If you create one story report by below steps, such as Performance management>> All templates Form template>> Form>> Form section, then this issue will not happen.

This is a Known Issue.

The fix for this issue is tentatively scheduled for 2H 2024 release with version number 2411.

Use table reports instead of Story.
