3486425 - After migrating an Enterprise Project, the Profit Center on the WBS Element is showing incorrectly in app Project Planning

Symptom

In Migrate Your Data for migration object Enterprise Project, the Profit Center on the WBS Element is not that from the source file.

Note: The Project Profile is "Project with Revenue".

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open app Migrate Your Data.
  2. Migrate data for migration object Enterprise Project with a WBS Element structure (Project Profile = Project with Revenue).
  3. The migration completes successfully.
  4. Check the structure in Project Planning app, the WBS Element(s) has different Profit Centers to the upload file.

Cause

All the WBS elements in the subtree of a billing element must have the same functional area and profit center as the billing element.

Resolution

This is standard behaviour. If the requirement is for the child WBS Element to have a different Profit Center then review your Billing Element structure.
