Symptom
After the check tool finish the job you can see a warning on the results: "The execution of check "DefaultSystemUserWithCorrectEmail".
The username of the default system user is "v4admin". Please go to the Admin Center and choose Import Employee Data. Select Basic Import to update the email address of the user "v4admin" to "SystemMessage@successfactors.com"
Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.
Environment
- SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Admin Center
- Click on Check Tool
- Click on Search Action
- Click on System health
- Select request type (Error)
- See the warning
Cause
If you are seeing this warning in question about the email for the v4admin user, it means that at some point in the past, someone changed the email address linked to that user. This is a inactive system user that should never be changed or updated (Refer to 2500964 - Do Not User V4admin as User - System System (v4admin user is inactive) - SAP for Me). But the fact someone changed it in the past, does mean it should be corrected back to what it needs to be.
Resolution
Perform a Basic import and ensure you select the option to process inactive users.
Just import the required fields and nothing else, if the validation fail, proceed to run the import anyway.
