Symptom

  • How to connect SAP Analytics Cloud as a managed service for an SAP Cloud ALM tenant?
  • While doing "Check Connection" for the endpoint of SAP Analytics Cloud tenant in Landscape Management, an error message "Failed to obtain OAuth access token: 401 Unauthorized:[No body]"  and HTTP Status Code: 401 UNAUTHORIZED is returned.


  • The option "Interactive Usage and API Access" is not available as a "purpose" value while creating the SAP Analytics Cloud OAuth client, "API Access" and "Interactive Usage" are displayed separately.
