Symptom

The system does not create an Intercompany project from a Purchase order. 

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Purchase Requests and Orders work center
  2. Go to the Purchase Orders view
  3. Select the relevant Purchase order
  4. Select Edit and navigate to the Document Flow tab
  5. The Intercompany Sales Order has been but the automatic Intercompany Project is not created

Cause

Click on the Intercompany Sales order and check the status if it is Released after this

Resolution

You need to Release the Sales Order and then the inter-company project will be created automatically.
