3486779 - Inaccurate Display of Time Off Balances as of Termination Date in Termination UI and Employment Details UI

The system is displaying an incorrect available balance under "Time Off Balances as of Termination Date" in the Termination UI and Employment Details UI when there is no termination rule assigned in the Time Account Type.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central – Time Management

1. Navigate to Employee Profile>Action>Termination
2. Select the Termination Date
3. Check the Time Off balances under "Time Off Balances as of Termination Date"
4. The balance are displayed by considering Accruals as zero, which results in a negative balance
   • For instance, If the Time Account has entries like Accrual: 5 Days, Taken Days: 5 Days, then the system displays the balance as 5 days over, rather than displaying balance as 0.
   • Accruals of 5 days are evaluated as zero due to the absence of a termination rule assigned in the time account type

• Missing Functionality

• When the Time Account Type is set with the Accrual Recalculation Posting Method as "No Recalculation Postings," and no termination rule is assigned to the Time Account Type, the system will exhibit the following behavior: 
  

  • Termination Screen UI > Time Off Balances as of Termination Date (Simulation): The system will display existing accruals as zero.

  • Employment Details UI > Time Off Balances as of Termination Date: The system will show existing accruals as zero.

  • Administer Time UI > Time Account: The system will not recalculate existing accruals to zero.

•  The enhancement ticket TIM-37556 is currently in progress to improve how accruals are simulated in the Termination Screen UI and Employment Details UI when no termination rule is set.
