Display entire range slider is not available for the date filter in the optimized story in SAC.

SAP Analytics Cloud

1. Log into SAC.
2. Open an optimized story.
3. Click on the date filter. 

Notice: The only ways you may choose a date are by manually year and month not with a slider.
