Symptom

  • Error happens when deleting the job from Data Services client Designer:

    Error: The job server 'inet:<Server Name>:<Port>' is not responding.  The network connection may be down or the job server may not be running.
    ... ...

  • In the lower right corner of the client Designer, the job server icon shows not running status.
