3487121 - HANA Data Backup Fails With Error: The file '<backup_file_name>' already exists and must not be overwritten

Symptom

When taking a HANA data backup, you get the error below:

Could not back up database <database_name>
backup could not be completed, The file '<backup_file_name>' already exists and must not be overwritten.

And the same error in backup.log:

ERROR BACKUP SAVE DATA finished with error: [447] backup could not be completed, [110008] The file '<backup_file_name>' already exists and must not be overwritten
