3487227 - Account data extension fields do not appear in invoice requests created via ManageCustomerInvoiceRequestIn or File Input

Account's header extension field is not carried over into an invoice request, which is generated either via file input or the webservice ManageCustomerInvoiceRequestIn.

SAP Business ByDesign

Create an extension field in an account as follows:

1. Got to the Account Management work center.
2. Open the Accounts view.
3. Select an account.
4. Edit -> General.
5. Key User Settings -> Enter Adaptation Mode.
6. Account -> Extension Fields.
7. Create a new extension field.
8. With the new extension field selected, Show Further Usage.
9. Go to Extension Scenario tab and enable the following extension scenarios:
   Account - General Information to Invoice Request - General Information
   Business Partner - General Information to Customer Invoice Request - General Information
10. Publish your changes.
11. Enter a value in the extension field and Save.

Once these have been enabled, create an invoice request via the webservice or file input. Once the External Customer Invoice Request has been created check the following:

1. Go to the Customer Invoicing work center.
2. Open the Invoice Requests view.
3. Open the externally created customer invoice request.
4. Click on the Edit button and then the View All button.

In the General tab you can see that the extension field has no value.

The extension scenario “Account - General Information to Invoice Request - General Information” and “Business Partner - General Information to Customer Invoice Request - General Information” are currently not supported for External Customer Invoice Request created via the webservice ManageCustomerInvoiceRequestIn or the file input.

This is the system behaviour prior to Release 2605.

With Release 2605 the extension scenario “Account - General Information to Invoice Request - General Information” and “Business Partner - General Information to Customer Invoice Request - General Information” is also supported for External Customer Invoice Request created via the webservice ManageCustomerInvoiceRequestIn.
