3487241 - Error message " Action not possible; transfer records exist for selected work agreement"

Error message while trying to change the hire date of an employee.

"Action not possible; transfer records exist for selected work agreement"

1. Go to Personnel Administration work center.
2. Go to view Employees
3. Search for employee ID XYZ
4. Select line for employee XYZ and edit
5. Navigate to Work Agreement under Employment
6. Change hire date and Select  Save button.
7. Error Message occurs "Action not possible; transfer records exist for selected work agreement " 

You have provided the same date for both the hiring date and transfer date. Therefore, system will not allow to change the hire date to a future date that is later than the first transfer date.

The change hire date functionality has below restrictions.

1. Changed hire date should be more than that of Initial Hire Date
2. Changed hire date should be less than that of start date of very first Transfer record since hiring.
3. Changed hire date should not be falling between any transfer validity dates 

This is a Standard system behavior

Change Hire date, Transfer date, Work Agreement  , KBA , SRD-HR-PAD , Personnel Administration , Problem
