3487703 - Error Message "Proposals Are Already Mapped" When You Are Performing Code List Mapping for a New Code List Mapping Group

The error "Proposals are already mapped" are raised when you are trying to create a new Code List mapping for another Code List Mapping group.

PS: In this document, we are going to use the data type TextCollectionTextTypeCode, but it can be exchanged for any other available data type.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to the Overview work center view.
3. Search and open the fine-tuning activity "Code List Mapping for Integration with External Applications and Solutions".
4. Go to the "Maintain Code List Mapping".
5. Search for Local Data Type Name "TextCollectionTextTypeCode".
6. Select the New Mapping Group "Z_New_Mapping_Group" (where Z_New_Mapping_Group is used as example for any Z-Mapping Group name).
7. Select "Local And Remote Codes Are Equal" and then click on "Missing Code Mappings".

Error message: Proposals are already mapped

The issue is due to the fact you are using a wrong data type. The Local Data Type needs belonging to namespace http://sap.com/xi/AP/Common/GDT.

In order to resolve it, you need to follow the steps below:

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to the Overview work center view.
3. Search and open the fine-tuning activity "Code List Mapping for Integration with External Applications and Solutions".
4. Go to the "Maintain Code List Mapping".
5. Add Row and search for Local Data Type Name *Text* (or any other used Local Data Type).
6. Select TextCollectionTextTypeCode which belongs to the namespace http://sap.com/xi/AP/Common/GDT.
