  • "From Number" not changeable in Configuration Activity 'Define Number Ranges for Each Material Type' 102282 for an Internal number range
  • Business catalog SAP_CA_BC_IC_LND_CMD_PRD_PC assigned to user but unable to update Internal number range in configuration activity 'Define Number Ranges for Each Material Type' 102282

Environment

Reproducing the Issue

  1. In the configuration activity 'Define Number Ranges for Each Material Type' 102282, select 'Edit intervals'.
  2. The 'From Number' field is disabled for the row that requires an update.

Cause

System Works as designed

The 'Number Range Status' field has a current number assigned

Resolution

To change the value for 'From' in the configuration activity, perform the following tasks:

 

  1. In the configuration activity 'Define Number Ranges for Each Material Type', select 'NR Status'.
  2. Change the 'Number Range Status' to 0 for the row that requires an update. 
  3. Choose 'Save'. 
  4. On the configuration page, select 'Interval'.
  5. Change the value for 'From'. 
  6. Choose 'Save'.
