3488092 - Additional row with the currency or unit symbol before the key figures

After updating the Analysis for Office (AfO), the query includes a row with the currency or unit symbol before the key figure.

For example:
Before configuration the query looks like the below screenshot:

Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.

As you can see, the columns Amount and Quantity have an additional row with the unit measures (EUR and PC).

SAP Analysis for Microsoft Office

This is caused by a configuration in the number format in Analysis for Office.

Click with the right button of the mouse in the key figure - > Number format -> unflag the box with the message “Display Scaling Factor and Units in the Header for All Measures”

After setting configuration view, it will remove the additional row with the unit measures (EUR and PC).
