3488133 - Contact Recruiter functionality in My Offers tab on the Career Site

Symptom

“Contact Recruiter” feature is visible and available in the Offers tab in the External Career site, even though the setting is disabled in "Manage Recruiting Settings".

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Admin Center > Manage RCM Settings and ensure the checkbox for "Allow candidates to email job requisition operator" is not ticked
  2. Apply to any Job Requisition as an external candidate
  3. As the Recruiter, move the candidate to Offer status and create an Online Offer (just a standard offer, not the one with eSignature)
  4. As the candidate, go to my Offers tab in the external career site and you'll see the option to contact the Recruiter
  5. Click on Contact Recruiter
  6. Fill out the details and send
  7. The email will be sent

Resolution

This fix for this issue is planned to be deployed on 2H 2024 release (b2411).
