SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

1. Go to Job Profile tab
2. Add Section and select any section for example Header
3. Click on add description here and enter the text
4. Hit the button Edit and remove the title
5. Save
6. The section without a title disappears from the page
7. For some job profiles, the section title reappear after saving it

The system requires every section to have a title in at least one language. Whether you can save a section after removing its title depends on the default language of the job requisition.

Scenario 1: Job Requisition's Default Language is English (en_US)

• When you add a section, the title is saved only in the en_US locale.
• If you remove this title, the section is left with no title in any language.
  Result: The system will not allow you to save the job profile, as the title in the only available locale (en_US) is being removed.

Scenario 2: Job Requisition's Default Language is NOT English US (e.g., fr_FR, de_DE, en_GB)

• When you add a section, the title is automatically saved in two locales: the job requisition's default language and the en_US locale (which acts as a system default).
• If you remove the title, you are only removing title in job req default language. The title in en_US remains.
  Result: Since the section still has a title in the en_US locale, the system allows you to save the job profile.

Summary: A section cannot be completely title-less across all languages. The system uses the en_US locale as a fallback, which causes the difference in behaviour.

For Scenario 1: 

1. Add another posting language to the job requisition temporarily.
2. Go to the Job Profile tab and select the other posting language.
3. Provide a section title in the new language.
4. Remove the section title from the English US locale.
5. After the changes to the Job Profile are saved, remove the other posting language from the job requisition.

For Scenario 2:

It's expected behavior.
