When perform Consumption for Cost Center (Goods Issue), error triggered: No matching inventory items found. However, there is Corresponding on-hand stock in Stock Overview.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Open common task Stock Overview.
2. Enter ABC in filter Product ID, enter DEF in filter Site ID, click Go.
3. In the result, there is on-hand stock with Stock Type "Warehouse".
4. Go to work center Internal Logistics.
5. Access common task Consumption for Cost Center.
6. Select Goods Issue in Posting Type.
7. Enter DEF in filter Site, enter GHI in filter Cost Center.
8. In the below click Add Row, enter ABC in Product ID.
9. Click Next, error triggered: No matching inventory items found.

In Stock Overview, add fields "Owner ID" and "Inbound Delivery ID" into the table through personalization mode, for this on-hand stock, owner is an account, inbound delivery ID is CID_1, open this inbound delivery, open its preceding Customer Return Delivery Notification IDN_1, follow-up activity is "Return to Supplier", "Externally-Owned Stock" is checked.

This is third-party order scenario, since this on-hand stock is owner by account and "Returned to Supplier" is the Follow-Up Activity in inbound delivery notification, you cannot consume it.

You can only return this stock back to supplier. Please refer to help document Third-Party Order Processing — Customer Return | SAP Help Portal
